Ben Folds plays here Friday
Ben Folds is coming to town. I haven't seen much advertising for the show beyond the Kings Highway area, so I though I would pass on the word about the concert Friday night.
Ben Folds and Eef Barzelay will play at 8 p.m. Friday night at the Centenary Gold Dome. Tickets are $15 in advance in admissions at the student life office on Centenary's campus and $20 online and at the door. To buy tickets online, go to http://www.centenarytickets.edu/.
I've never seen Ben Folds live, so I'm pretty excited about the concert. Hopefully, he'll play some Ben Folds Five stuff too. I'd hate to go to the concert and not hear my best friend's anthem, "Kate."

I kinda wanna see Eef Barzelay..his first solo album wasn't too shabby. I don't much care for Ben Folds though. I only have one of his songs on a mix CD. It's "Kate". Guess who made that mix CD.
I think I have that CD too. Or I have a CD she made me with that song on it.
I can't blame her. If I ever heard a song with my name in it, I would give it props. I've only heard one song about a girl named Stephanie and it was terrible. Go figure.
Maybe Midwest Caravan could write a song titled "Stephanie." I remember one time at one of your shows you threw out a line about working at the Shreveport Times. That was funny. It could work. Please.
I really want to go. AND wear some sort of shirt with 'Kate' on it so perhaps he can pull me onstage.
He'll never see a T-shirt. You have to bring a poster and some sort of gift.
The sign should say, "Wanna be Kate? Well, I am Kate so bring me on stage so I can give you this gift."
That's when you go on stage, he opens the bag and he's gotten one of two things:
a. Nancy the life-sized squirrel.
b. Mardi Gras Santa.
I don't know if I'd want to give up Nancy or Santa. Perhaps I could offer a Mr. T bobblehead.
Ben sort of looks like Funny Guy, minus beard + hair (whom, I saw yesterday and gave a half/side hug to, BTW).
I would part with the Leon Barmore bobble before Mr. T or the N'Sync collection.
How come Funny Guy just randomly turns up? He just comes and goes as he pleases.
No One ever said anything about trading NSYNC. HOWEVER, if I chose to, I'd probably get rid of Justin first b/c he's probably the easiest to come back in contact with. Or possibly joey fatone.
your strategy is all wrong. You should hold on to Justin because he'll be the most valuable one day. Well, as valuable as an N'Sync bobblehead can be.
In the boy band world "rare" means "the guy no one gives a crap about." Like right now all I can think of is Justin, Joey, Lance, Chris ... was there a fifth member? For the life of me I have no idea AND I went to a concert!!
J.C.!!! How did I remember Chris and not J.C.?
i'm through with this conversation. how could you forget j.c.? i mean he dated EVA LONGORIA (not the schnauzer) for crying out loud.
Puh-leese, Eva Longoria only wishes she could forget J.C.
